HAJIME (hajee-may)   Begin
HIDARI  left
KAMAE  Get into position, prepare.
KIAI (kee-ai)     A short, loud shout.
MAWATE (mawa-tay)   Turn into position
MAE          front
MIGI          right
NAOTTE (na-oh-tay)   At ease, relax.
Otagai-ni-Rei         Bow to each other
OSU               Indicates respect
REI (ray)       Bow.  A sign of respect.
Shomen-ni-Rei     Bow to the front of the dojo
Sensei-ni-Rei     Bow to the teacher
SEIRETSU (say-retsu)    Line up in an orderly fashion.
